Jay Kull, MD
Dr. Jay Kull is a board-certified family medicine physician.
Born and raised in London, Ohio, Dr. Kull received his Medical Doctoral degree (with honors) from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore in 1993. While attending medical school he served as class president two years, and received the Outstanding Medical Student Award from the American Medical Association during his senior year.
He continued his training at Stanford University Medical Center completing both an internship and a residency in Family Medicine in 2000. Following his residency, he practiced with Stevenson Family Medicine for 5 years before opening his own practice in January of 2005.
Dr. Kull is married and is the father of two children. His outside interests include writing, traveling, and photography.
John Utterson, MD
Dr. John Utterson is a board-certified family medicine physician.
Dr. Utterson received his Medical Doctoral degree from University of Michigan Medical School in 1994. He continued his training in San Francisco, CA at University of California completing both an internship and a residency in Family Medicine in 2001. He has been in private practice since 2002 and joined Kull Family Medical Center in 2005 specializing in infectious diseases and men's health.
An Atlanta native, Dr. Utterson is married and is the father of one child. His outside interests include playing golf, water skiing, and gardening.
Shannon Poole, PA-C
Shannon Poole is a board-certified physician assistant.
Born and raised in Nashville, TN, Shannon received her Bachelor of Science from Georgia State University and her Master of Medical Science from Mercer University. Shannon joined Kull Family Medical Center in 2006 specializing in pediatrics and women's health.
Shannon is married and is the mother of one child. Her outside interests include painting, running, and spending time with her family.
Heidi Lanyon, FNP-C
Heidi Lanyon is a board-certified family nurse practitioner.
Heidi received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University Medical Center and her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University School of Nursing.In her spare time, Heidi enjoys yoga, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
